Landscape Installation

Our goal is to execute your design by using the most efficient and up to date equipment following the guidelines of American Nursery Standards. At Landscapes Unlimited CSRA we install a plethora of different plants, trees, shrubs and a variety of grasses. You can trust our team to determine the best planting habits for maturity, hardiness and longevity of plant life.

Planting trees, shrubs and flowers offers a plethora of benefits to you and your property. Below are just a few benefits to adding living plants to your home:

  • Trees can lower your overall power bill by keeping your yard cool in the summer

  • Investment in your landscape enhances curb appeal and property value

  • Trees ultimately decrease the rain impact to divert floods

Choosing to install trees and plants is the first step but it is imperative to choose the right tree/plant in the right place. Certain trees thrive in certain weather conditions. Therefore, choosing a plant/tree that will thrive on your property depends on many factors, such as, regional pests and diseases and soil conditions. We will also give recommendations of transplanting trees/plants/flowers to areas that are more ideal growing locations with our planting services. Transplanting is a precise process that can determine the hardiness of your plant.

We specialize in both residential homes and commercial properties.

At Landscapes Unlimited our sod services have two parts: site preparation and sod installation.

1. Site Preparation: Before we install your sod, we make sure that your site is prepared using the following process.

  1. Lawn clearing: Landscapes Unlimited will clear your overall landscape and ensure it is disposed and cleaned up properly.

  2. Rough grade work: Grading is imperative to ensure water is draining away from important building structures

  3. Top soil: Healthy grass needs 3”-4” of top soil to flourish. Landscapes Unlimited uses state of the art soil

  4. Soil conditioning: This is the process of cultivating, tilling, or mixing the new soil into your existing subgrade. At Lakes Landscape Services, we use power or hydraulic equipment specifically designed for this process.

  5. Final grade work: We’ll add the final touches with the new soil, rake it, and roll it smooth in preparation for sod installation.

  6. Rolling: A lawn roller or power roller is used to smooth out, settle, and firm the grade before the sod is installed.

  1. Delivery: We ensure the sod delivered is freshly cut daily.

  2. Installation: Our team makes sure whether your sod is installed in rolls or squares that each piece is lined up properly so there are no gaps.

  3. Final roll and tamp. This step is necessary to smooth out your sod.

  4. Clean up.  One of the final steps is to remove  any unused sod and pick up debris to make sure your area is left looking clean.
